The EXA Consulting Group congratulates IMP Aerospace for winning the modernization program for the Chilean Navy’s fleet of P-3 Orion maritime patrol aircraft.  

This work includes:

  1. the embodiment of the Lockheed Martin P-3 Structural Mid-Life Upgrade;
  2. the design and installation of a modernized “glass cockpit”;
  3. installation of upgraded engines; and
  4. a phased depot maintenance inspection package.

IMP won the contract over several competitors, including Lockheed Martin, who was the original equipment manufacturer of the P-3 Orion aircraft and is the manufacturer of the P-3 Structural Mid-Life Upgrade kit used in the program.

EXA was the proposal manager on this program, and EXA helped IMP address the unique and complex constraints of the Chilean RFP.
